The Castrol Edge is LL04 spec and is fine to use on your car as a replacement for LL01. The oil capacity on the N42 engine is 4.3 litres

as the car never had the radio control wheel in the first place you would have to make sure that the radio has the relevent wiring to connent to one , i think you might find you'll have to install a wiring loom that connects the radio to the wheel buttons

if its the stock radio, the security alarm runs through it, mine did same till i pulled the stock one and put a aftermarket radio in.

Check that your ICV ( idle control Valve) is actually alive. This is what used to happen with mine. It is located right below the throttle flap, you will see a hose going to it.
