2005 Acura RSX Type-S Questions & Answers
Car starts when it's jump but won't start again could it be the starter
the battery in your in car is maybe drained or damaged or the alternator which suppose to charge your battery is not working so the battery remains uncharged. One way to know if battery is not being charged, jump your car and disconnect from jump leads and take out any one of battery terminals. If engine stops, then your alternator is not working and if it remains idling, then your battery is faulty. Replace battery and see if it works.
2005 Acura RSX will not start up
sounds to me like a starter issue. when the starter click andd it doesnt come popping out , usually its bad and has seized. as for you problem with the lights , that sounds like corroded grounds not giving a good pathway for the electricity . of course when you accelerate the alternator gives more power making it bright also the vibration is moving the connection around.
My glove box light won't work
It should be the globe itself, the fuse will control many other things and if theyre not out it should just be the globe or possibly the switch that turns it on, check globe first.
Spark plug blew out now car wont start
sounds like the autoshutoff relay may be bad..it controls the ingition and the fuel pump too..if the pump works check for spark by inserting a screwdriver into a pulled off spark plug wire and look for a decent spark between the screwdriver shaft and any ground like the block..if no spark the relay may not be powering up the ignition system..
Where is thr fuel pump relay located on an 2003 acura rsx
post the symptoms. (no start but cranks fine?) what?
the relay only closes cranking. and may not if no spark,
spark is first, after fuse checks.
it (relay) is only a question, if?
1: fuel pressure is zero.
2: pump is silent while cranking.
if you have spark on all cylinders
and the fuel pressure is zero cranking
or the pump has 0v not 12v cranking
then we can show you where the relay is.
or go to alldata.com and see it for self.
some are in the fuse panel.... (im too lazy to look it up now)
