what a night mare job which 4 cyl 2.4 engine is fitted to that chain or timing belt normal cam cogs or a 2.4 ecotec with VVti cams timing chains possiblty twin cam.
My headlights keep blowing on my 2010 Pontiac G6. We've replaced them ATLEAST every 4 months or so. Well again today, we changed the passenger headlight and now I have NO:
1. Running back lights
2. No license plate light
3. The front running lights are both out
4. My gear shift AND AC lights in the dash have gone out
But I have headlights, interior lights, minus the 2 things I mentioned above, turning signals both front and back are working, reverse lights work, brake lights work. Fuses are all fine, and the bulbs are fine, ALL of this happened at 1 time. Any suggestions on how to fix it?
Check the charging system voltage, if it's over 14.8 volts it's too high and will shorten the life of bulbs, battery, blower motor, cooling fan motors and if it gets over 16 volts the vehicle control modules will also get cooked. The voltage regulator is built into the alternator but can be replaced separately. I hope this helps. Take care.

You need to find the code or codes that are stored in the computer. The codes show what area or system of the car to check further for the problem. A lot of things can cause bad gas mileage. That is why you need the codes to help pinpoint where the problem lies.

Timing sensors ? Or do you mean crankshaft position sensor ? What type problem are you have ? Check engine light on ,trouble code ? If you replace this sensor you would need to do a crank relearn .
How do I reset my remote start on my 2010 Pontiac g6
if you have the factory remote start option then to use the remote start all you have to do is press the lock button on the fob then press the and hold for 3 seconds the start button (it is the button that is just above the lock and unlock buttons at the very top)
Or If you press the menu key about 3-5 times I believe you should see REMOTE START and it will say either ON or OFF if it says off press the ENTER key and it should switch to on then try the remote start again and make sure that your CHECK ENGINE light isn't on, if it is on the REMOTE START wont work as a safety.
