I filled my gas tank of my S80 with the engine running and now my check engine light is on and I get an error the fuel cap is not secured. The fuel cap has been checked and rechecked. How do I reset

You might try turning your switch on and off several times. If the fuel cap is on right then it should eventually go out anyway.

I have a 2004 S80 T6 that is giving me a issue with the trans staying engaged. It will go for about 1/4 mile and when I let off the gas, the trans is gone. I have been told to flash the computer.

Check to see if there are any OBD codes. Might point you in the right direction. Most of the problems I've seen with Volvo trannies are because of shift solenoids, which can cause a host of problems. Dealers tend to always quote a new ($$$$$) transmission, but if the transmission does shift properly when it DOES shift, your "wear items" are probably OK, and the problem is in the "control items" like the shift solenoid, or possibly a sensor. At the very least, I'd try draining and refilling the transmission fluid (particularly if you haven't done that in a while), and would recommend adding 8-12 ounces of LubeGard Platinum (I'm normally skeptical of snake oil, but have seen that stuff "fix" a few transmissions that were acting really badly).

Volvo s80 key will not automatically go in

I have an S80, never had a problem. It's possible the key battery has "expired". Try your spare key. What about the car's battery if it is not good there may not be enough power to allow the Key to function properly. Are you sure it is the proper key? Antitheft and security features may require help from a Volvo dealer!

2007 Volvo S80 T6 3.2L OBD Code P0057 Bank 2 Sensor 2 won't clear and Code P0172 came back, have changed the oil diffuser cover and both O2 downstream sensors, need help ASAP

changed the wrong sensors the code (p0057)refers to the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) which is in the exhaust manifold before the cat converter code p 0172 refers to system too rich bank bank 1===causes ---intake blocked ---EVAP canister purge valve --- fuel pressure---EGR systems ---injector/s---HO2S If you replace the HO2S sensor/s then that will [robably fix all codes the heated oxygen sensor reads the exhayst gas and reports to the ECM to adjust the air /fuel ratio to get the engine to run within parameters when it is not working , it runs lean or rich

On our 2001 Volvo S80, we ordered a replacement turn signal lens. Managed to get the old connectors off and the new ones plugged in which was hard. Now the new lens won't go back flat into place.

If you're comfy with manuals then i know few websites that can help you with it. Bcause I've bought it from various websites so I know how each site deals. try www.reliable-store.com Very helpful

Changed the side repeater bulb on our VOLVO S80 140 4DR SALOON 2435CC PETROL AUTO 4SP(2000) but still getting the message bulb failure position light.

Its just a tail light not the repeater bulb check all bulbs you can turn the car on and just pull out the bulb holder and see which one is out have someone push on the brakes also and put the car in reverse. Also sometime the connections that the bulbs go in need cleaned. If you clean it just remove the whole holder just by squeezing the connector that hooks into the holder. This is a common issue. But more then likely it just the bulb.
