The black wire could be the earth connection. Try connecting it to a nearby earth and see if things start working.

Take it to a key cutter with appropriate software to mate it to your spare key

As a second note keep your key bunch light on 2008 sprinter or you'll break the esr ring

Electronic sensor ring - big bucks to fix and lots of downtime. This happened to me.

Esr ring if it goes will leave electronic solenoid in steering lock engaged and once you've had the sprinter put on the back of a truck and taken to main dealer they replace key box and then everything has to be re- paired with ecu

id say the 1st and the last symptom is caused by the middle symptom , to figure out whats wrong with that 1) do you have the correct key for that truck, folks that have more than one of these can mix up the keys for them , even repair shops can do it as well (2) key damaged ??? keys get damaged all the time (3) lock damaged ??? locks can become broken inside especially if one sticks the wrong item in there somehow

Could be a couple of reasons maybe your charging system is to high an output and supplying to much voltage or you are touching the glass of the bulb this leaves an invisible grease from your fingers that causes the bulb to overheat

wow its not deep ? you have to set the preload so that it requires 5nm to turn the pinion

Unclip it push it away from the radiator use an 8mm allen key to undo the viscous fan then you can remove the cowling easily ( i have welded a extension onto my 8mm allen key to make this easy) you will need to hold the water pump pulley while cracking off the 8mm center bolt

You dont have a MAP sensor on this model ? how can you have only 600 millibar 980 to 1026 is an approximate range of normal atmospheric pressure regardless of engine conditions what part did you swap and did you reset the adaption data for the component ?

It should be any code reader for 1996 and up vehicle which is OBD2 then google the code and it'll give you a list of possible causes or call your local auto parts store, give them your code and they'll be able to figure it out. O'reilly Auto Parts would be my opinion. And if you dont want to buy one because they can get pricey they do free engine light checks. It'll look something like "p0204" something of that nature.

i would say its the switch ,is it the same from all switch's ? the fuse is USUALLY for up and down ,BUT, they may be seperate, as you say wont all go bad at the same time so have a look at fusebox the lid will have a list of the fuse functions

Pull up the diagnostic error codes with the help of diagnostic computer and repair as necessary. Both the ASR (Anti Slip Regulation) and ESP are concerned with the brake system. ESP is the latest one which includes in it ASR, BAS, ABS and ETS in a single control module. It uses steering angle sensor, Yaw rate sensor, acceleration sensor and all wheel sensors to decide which wheel to brake. In short, delete the error codes and calibrate the sensors.
