Accidentally putting diesel in a gas car If you know that you have accidentally put the wrong fuel in the car, then don't compound the mistake by driving the vehicle while trying to think about what to do. Instead, call your mechanic immediately. At this point, the damage isn't permanent. If you drive and continue to drive, at one point the vehicle will stop and you will still have to have it towed. There are two things you can do to try to fix the damage: 1. Try to clean up the damage yourself - have the vehicle towed home if it's not there already, and get as much of the diesel fuel out. How? By siphon if you can or any other method that you have available. Once you have as much of the diesel out as you can, fill the tank with the correct unleaded fuel that you normally use. Try to start the vehicle. It could take several attempts but it will start and it will smoke - a lot. It will continue to smoke until the last dregs of the diesel make its way through the system. It might run a little rough until everything is cleaned out. How it runs will depend on the proportion of diesel fuel relative to gas left in the tank. 2. Alternatively, have your vehicle towed to where your mechanic is and have the fuel tank drained of all the diesel fuel by a profession. They are also likely to flush out the whole fuel system. If the diesel stays in there for too long (and who knows how long is too long for your particular vehicle), it could ruin the fuel pump, lines and injectors. It is also possible that the diesel could have gummed up the spark plugs and filters. If this is the case, they will probably need to be replaced. Getting a professional to do the job will cost you anywhere from $100 to $500 and possibly a little higher depending on the extent of the damage.

It is possibly a flat battery in one or more of the sender units in your wheel or it may have a damaged sender unit if you have had new tyres fitted recently take your vehicle back and have them rectify the problem

There's a switch on the brake pedal arm that turns the light on when you press the brake pedal. The switch needs to be adjusted or replaced. Hope this helps.

Just because fuel pump is running does not mean the pressure in the fuel rail is correct. Test pressure with fuel pressure gauge. Also insure you have spark to the plugs and that timing belt is not broken.

About the only option is to change the tires to a winter tread tire.

Its not simple, but can be done.Idle the engine for around 15 minutes to get transmission up to temperature. Lift the front of the car and remove the under tray. Locate a filler plug towards the lower edge of the valve body cover. While the engine is idling in Park remove the plug. If fluid runs out there is sufficient fluid. If no fluid runs out, add fluid through the filler until it runs out. This will leave the fluid at a minimum level, to get it to maximum level you must add another 700ml through the breather. Refit the filler plug, switch off the engine, remove the banjo fitting at the top of the cover, and add fluid through this hole. Check for leaks and refit under tray. Lower vehicle to ground

Check oil leaks or deposits as.when u turn heater on.it sucks external air and may be sign of oil leak engine gearbox

Get someone to do.all the lights while with multi meter check the voltage from each.wire when on or off if say indicators flashing on vehicle then the plug connection should register voltage then none as the lights flash the white should be earth on British plugs end the other should show voltage respectively when on u have maybe got earth wrong or there a fault with trailer wiring :-) hope this helps

The transmission dipstick will be closer to the firlewall on most vehicles It may have a handle with a picture of a transmission on it. You'll need to find the transmission drain plug if there is one. Some models you need to drop the transmission pan some you have to drop the oil pan before you can drop the transmission pan. Many you have to remove brackets and or exhaust parts before you can remove the other pans. See Tutorial

Could be a bad fuse may have drawn moisture though I doubt it I'd change the fuse and see if that works.
