They are all over the place on the cause of this. There are some that have debris in the fuel tank, loose fuel pump, bad electric connections bad yaw sensor, bad ecm etc. IT IS NOT A SAFETY FEATURE. Try the ESC off and see if that helps.

Hi,
I bought Hyundai Accent Executive
You must understand you have a clutch operated by hydraulic fluid. It uses brake fluid as the hydraulic fluid. If air gets into the system it is bad, because fluid doesn't compress like air does. When you press down the clutch pedal, you are forcing brake fluid to go down a small line to a small cylinder near your transaxle. The fluid is under pressure from the pedal to mechanically move a lever inside the tranny that allows clutch action (shifting gears) to occur. See?
So air got in because you must have a leak in your clutch hydraulic system. It is a sealed system, and is composed of a clutch master cylinder (mounted on the firewall under the hood, just in front of your clutch pedal) and a line from this clutch master cylinder to a smaller "slave cylinder" down on the bell housing that is between the engine and the transaxle. This slave cyl. is the small cylinder I spoke of above that is near the transaxle.
That is all there is to the hydraulic part of the clutch. So the mechanic added fluid at the master cylinder at the reservoir, and then bled the system down at the slave cylinder. If air got in- it had to be leaking somewhere. Once you get the leak stopped, the problem should go away.
I can't get the hood release cable to work so I can raise the hood on a 07 Hyundai accent.
First thing to do is press down on the hood with both hands on the front near the center. This is to see if the latch or hood is just stuck, If the cable release is broken, then it becomes a huge job and depending on the car, you have to get under it and remove any covers between the frame and the grill and see if you can reach the latch, on some cars you can take the front wheel off and reach the latch. Look through the grill etc. You make have to unbolt the latch or use a wire hooked to the lever, if none of that works you can take the car to a body shop as opposed to a general mechanic because they are cheaper.
