2010 Hyundai Accent Questions & Answers
My hyundai Accent 2010 will randomly not start until boosted/charged
you need to find out what is draining the battery, it could be the alarm or lights, with nothing being used and a fully charged battery the voltage at the batter should be around 12volts. you will need a volt meter to find out what is the voltage, when the engine is running the voltage at the battery should be between 13.85 and 14.volts, if the voltage is low at the battery when charged the problem is the battery, if the engine is running and its at 12-13 volts then there is a problem with the alternator. if all of these parts are fine then you need to remove fuses one at a time and check the voltage drop, when you find the fuse you need to check your log book or info on fuse box to find what that fuse controls. if you don't have fog lights then its not them dont know who told you that. it can also be a fault with the backup battery for the alarm these can fail over time and they drain the battery.
Hyundai Verna late starting and engine gets switched off when cold.
Hello Rajiv Chaudhary,
First and always... on diesel engines YOU want to check your injectors... (Bosch CRDi... see video at bottom).
It is certainly an experiment... but the down-side is you end up with new ones in place and a GOOD SET of used SPARES (only if I am
WRONG).
FAILING THAT SOLUTION (Only)...
Failing that significantly changing your situation...
Once fire & fuel have been completely covered... and because of
60 years of mechanical experience I then move on to EXHAUST PROBLEMS... (even before suggesting code readers).
Your engine must properly breath to start quickly & run properly.
I know of no elegant way to check... just open the exhaust
and see if it improves your starting... Get out the penetrating oil and GET TO IT....
Failing that... hire a professional
(get a bucket of money & surrender it to a mechanic...
(but I hope my advise averts that)).

Rough ride front end
My best guess is new struts are likely. Stand next to the front fender.
push down as hard as you can to get the car bouncing. let go. If it bounces more than once after you let go, time for struts.
Hola tengo un hyundai accent 2010 y se a encendido el check lo hice escanear y me salio el código p2096 el mecánico lo apago y nuevamente se a vuelto a encender pero en que me pue
I FOUND THIS ON THE WEB -- READ IT THROUGH
The code P2096, post catalyst fuel trim system too lean on bank 1 simply translates to a lean (too much air and not enough fuel) condition the PCM recognized through the signals from the oxygen sensors. Bank 1 has no meaning on a four or straight six cylinder engine with a single exhaust. On a V-6 or V-8 engine it refers to the oxygen sensor on the number one cylinder side of the engine as bank 1.
A series of oxygen sensors in the exhaust system signal the fuel mixture ratio at all times. Each exhaust system with a catalytic converter will have two sensors -- one between the engine and the converter and one after the converter.
Oxygen sensors signal the engine management computer the amount of oxygen present in the exhaust, which is used in determining and controlling the fuel ratio. The higher the oxygen content the leaner the fuel mixture, conversely the opposite is a rich mixture. It does so in a series of pulses called "cross counts." There is zirconium on the tip of the sensor that reacts to oxygen in a way that when hot, creates its own voltage. It must be around 250 degrees F to operate and will produce up to 0.8 volts.
In operation the oxygen sensor will cycle once every second and send a voltage to the computer that ranges from 0.2 rich to 0.8 for a rich mixture. The perfect mixture will average the signals around 0.45 volts. The computer's target fuel/air ratio is 14.7:1. An oxygen sensor will not function at low temperatures such as start up -- for this reason most forward sensors have a pre-heater to reduce their warm up time.
How do I repair the mileage reader
If your Odometer is becoming hard to read, or is coming on and off, then you are having an issue internal of your cluster. I have seen a few of these come through the shop.
The only fix I have seen is to actually replace the cluster assembly. Hyundai has an exchange program that the dealer can order you a new cluster and replace the whole assembly.
