Check engine light comes on when using fuel with ethanol...what can I do?

Up to 10% should not cause any problems like check engine lights. If this is a flex fuel car then you may have a fuel type sensor, this device senses what % of the fuel is Ethanol and makes adjustments to the engines fuel and ignition system operational strategy, if this fuel sensor is not working correctly the result of the Ethanol burning with no computer adjustments being made for the less dense fuel it will case activation of the CE light due to erratic O2 sensor codes in the exhaust stream.

I have a 89 gmc 2500hd 350 some times it will start run for 30 seconds or so than it just dies after a few more times of doing that it will run just fine

If yoy ran out of gas and have fuel injection it might be vapor locked. You'll have to bleed the injectors to let the air out. Running out of gas lets air bubbles in.

Changing right side head light

depends what kind of vehicle you are talking about, alot of G.M. vehicles have pins, or tabs to pull up and then light comes straight forward out to where you can access the bulb in back, chev/gmc trucks, malibus, grand ams etc. If you get into high end G.M. example Cadillac cts, srx, etc you have a whole bunch of work to do and you are better taking it in to dealer, than to chance scratching or damaging the front painted Bumper !

MY A/C IN MY 2005

This can be a faulty temperature control unit in the panel as it fails to keep control of the settings . If so please try and reset the control from HOT to COLD many times and see if there is any change.
If there is a electronic temperature control- auto climatic control - then this can be a suspect.
Also you must check if the AC cuts off in this condition, check the gas pressure in the display or if the cooling pipes are getting hot. If so the AC must be checked, check the gas , check the presssure switch , the compressor pumping pressure, block in the evaporator.
Thank you for using fixya

How to remove the head

HELLO; If you will look on the side where the head rest goes into the seat (the base) you will see a hole on each side. Get a drill bit the size of the hole push in and pull up a little till you feel that side release then do the other side. Have the headrest all the way up when you do this.

Oil pressure gauge is jumping

Sounds like you had better check your oil level before you have a knocking noise. If oil level is ok, change your oil pressure sender.

I am looking for a

The 1985 GMC Sierra transmission is a th700R4 overdrive transmission. The 700R4 does not utilize a vacuum modulator. Shift points are controlled by the T.P. or kickdown cabe. Proper adjustment of this cable is critical to transmission longevity. Your Pontiac, if originally equipped with a th400 transmission, has no means to connect this cable to the carburetor. I would not recommend this transmission swap. Also the th400 and the 700R4 use different sized drive shaft yokes, so your drive shaft cannot be used.

I have a 2005 GMC

there must be a crack or even a whole in your air ducts. air ducts are the ones that connects your blow holes to the blower of your a/c. search for the crack and seal it.

also, there are a lot of holes in the river side. holes like holes for the steering wheel, holes for the pedals, holes for the wiring connections. try to cover it. i usually cover holes using foam tape. it is a type of tape that is used in a/c lines. it can absorb water pretty well so no need to replace it regarly.
