2010 GMC Savana - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

Unfortunately, my friend, there are 2, and are under the intake manifold. Being in a van, that just adds insult to misery. Intake, fuel rails, throttle body has to come off. Be sure to use an all new gasket set to put the intake back on, and get a manual to get the torque specs right, or you will crack the plastic intake, or have vacuum leaks.

please explain ,the tightness of the wheel cylinder or thew calipers to the axle ,or the estimated brake resistance reading for a inspection certificate .

I had an older gmc s15. After installing a aftermarket stereo it did the same thing. Believe it or not it ended up being the headlight dimmer Switch had gone bad and was already pulling alot of juice. The new stereo just made it trip and blow the fuse alot faster.

up under the dash should be in the fuse block, turn on 4 way flasher and you will hear it there are 2 of them once you find them you can put a finger on it and feel it to see witch one is not working one is emergancy flasher and one for turning signals

All depends on what engine you have, but if you have a distributor it is at the base of the rotor mount inside of the cap.

Yes , disconnecting the battery will disable air bags . wait 10 min. after for the capacitors inside the air bag control module to dissipate charge .

Sounds like a bad ignition key module. Should be on the steering column hidden under some trim.

Make sure the latch has not become latched while open.

I would check the switch at the brake pedal arm - may have come loose or is faulty.

If your engine light is on, check for codes. Sounds like fuel pump relay.

Check the cruise control fuse in the cab fuse box. Same thing happened on my 2500

Batteries can slowly die , will start OK when hot , but when in cold weather , will give problems.

A lot of them have this problem. Check the dash setting on the dimmer light. If that is not the problem, unless you really really need the dome light, I would simply remove the light bulb.

Have you checked the "flasher?" It might need replaced. An easy job.
