Very strange.Usually the ac compressor cuts off if the computer detects a major problem with the engine such as a power loss on more than one cylinder.And if that happens the computer should store trouble codes for the issues. Is the check engine light staying on ? Will the ac work if the engine idles ?

Hello, fault is either from the relay or a fuse problem.Check the fuse under your steering or check the fuse box in your bonnet. You will also find the fan relay in the bonnet.Good luck.
