Where is the inertia switch
Depending on your make and model most ford inertia switches are under the dash near the center by the glove box.on later fords they hid in the trunk drivers side rear wheel well.should say on off .this is also the fuel pump shut off. Oooo and on Lincoln there next to the master cylinder with a red or orange button if button is up fuel is shut off if button is down fuel is on......look under the passenger side kick panel under the glove box on some f series trucks.if it's not there you'll have to call ford and find out.

Grinding sound when turning
Can be a number of things. Sometimes when a caliper tries to "float" which is a proper return of the caliper after braking, the brake hoses are hung or attached incorrectly and bind. This causes the calipers to rub as the brake hose limits the travel of the caliper. As the brake pad wears, more looseness develops and also causes the caliper to be pulled even more crooked. The shortness of the brakeline caused by improper attachment OR failing to lengthen the brakeline by installing lift kits can result in a problem.Next, could be the C-V joints in a 4x4 or the balljoints in all front suspension.
