Rear flasher works sometimes 2010 dodge journey ,what is promblem
It sounds to be a failing relay unit, The cheapest thing to do first is replace the flasher globe as it maybe at the end of it's life, if this doesn't correct the problem it could be a faulty relay to the flasher unit. If it is the relay it isn't hard to fix all you g=have to do is trace the wires back to a black rectangular bax with wires coming out of it & dismantle & replace. If either of these doesn't work then a trip to the mechanic or dealership for further diagnosis of the problem.
Bas esp light come on 2010 dodge journey
Your Bas & Esp Light is on due to a failing or already failed Bas sensor & Esp Sensor, You can either do it yourself which can be very tricky if you are not confident with automobile repairs. The dealer should be able to do this at a reasonable price as it should take around an hour to do the repairs. If the problem keeps arising there could be a problem elsewhere that is connected to the same area & is shorting out.
I hope this helps.
2010 journey passenger side blows cold air when heater is on
Sounds like the damper flap is stuck or broken if you have the dual heater controll. You can try to reset it by setting both sides to cold shut the car off after you get cold on both sides. Then restart car and set heat to high on both sides. If that won't work you will have to take alook at the door actuator motors. Not much fun but can be done. At this point you may want to take your car to the dealership I'm told the repair is around 500.00 to 1000.00
How to change rear struts 2010 dodge journey
Hi there, I'm Al the owner of Big As Auto Repair
The rear struts on the Journey are very simple to do, and you can do in your garage at home on the floor. First, you'll need a jack and a jack stand to support the axle. NOTE: Do one side at a time! Here we go: Lift the vehicle, support the axle with the jack stand, remove the wheel, take the lower bolt and note off the strut and pull it through the hole. Now take the three bolts out that hold the strut to the body. Next pull downward on the lower control arm that the brakes and everything are mounted on while lifting the strut up and over the control arm and out. VERY IMPORTANT: If you are changing the spring yourself PLEASE do not attempt to do so unless you have the proper equipment and tools to do so because this spring removal is very dangerous. NOTE: If you have bought the complete strut with the spring on it then simple put the new strut on the vehicle. VERY IMPORTANT: When installing the new strut look at the other strut on note how it installs to the vehicle. The upper plate must mount in one direction, by looking at the one still on the vehicle you can mount it properly. If you need any more assistance go to my website below. Have an awesome day!

How do you install front shocks on a 2010 dodge journey
This vehicle uses a suspension strut with a coil spring and a strut bearing plate. If you are unfamiliar with this type of set up you may want to have a professional install them for you. The coil spring has a lot of pressure on it and can cause serious injury or death if not handle properly. Monroe and some other manufactures offer Quick Strut assemblies that only have to be bolted in and are much safer to install. Which ever way you choose be careful and make sure to have the alignment checked after installation is complete.
I changed my plugs and its still running rough, why
Call around to the local Auto parts stores and ask if they will read the trouble codes from your car. Some of the bigger stores ( Auto Zone) will hook up, read the codes , and print them out for you all free of charge. The print outs are easy to read and you'll come away having a better understanding of the problem. Won't be so easy for a repair shop to rip you off if you have to take the car for repair.
There is a clicking sound coming from the dash on the passenger side of the car. It sounds like it is coming from the airbag area. What can I do to get it to stop?
I do not know off hand what this is however you can help yourself by trying to isolate what makes it occur. turn off everything such as radio, climate control, especially A/C. Then turn things on one at a time and only one at a time. If a function causes the clicking then you know where to begin looking and if it is important. I have never heard of an airbag clicking so if you are worried about that then check with a dealer's service dept about any known or experienced issues like this. I would not ask about a recall, I would ask what I could do to figure it out. I have tried to replace baords in climate control systems myself and the dealer service writers fixed the problems without charge. Give them a chance since they know more about you vehicle than anyone else and their cursory look will not likely cost you anything.
