Is it the sounds of bacon and egg cooking in a skillet, wet French fries dropped in hot oil or the sounds of cooking soup boiling. Details matters and sounds are very subjective. Let me know, I am a qualified chef, as well a a car expert.

You get a battery charger and get underneath the engine. You put the red clamp of the charger on the big red lead connection on the starter motor. You put the black clamp on any clean bolt head you can find. In 30 minutes the battery will be charged enough to get in.
Then you need to find a local auto-electrician to diagnose why the battery is draining.

Sounds like a bad headlight switch causing an electrical short. Take that one in. Don't try it on your own unless u have the electrical knowledge. good luck
I would pull the main headlight switch out and check it for burning, that is the most common issue for this type of problem with the headlights coming and going.
If the original y-fitting is ok. Just get yourself a piece of heater hose. The auto store may have heater hose on a roll, You may need to tell them the ID and how long, they just cut a length for you and you use hose clamp. I'm not sure what you bought/an assembly? Maybe you can take it back and just get a piece of hose? Of course, I can't see anything from here?
I did find this picture.
Behind the glove box. open it, get all the stuff out of it. Tabs on the sides of the box let you drop it out and down. The resistor is right there. one plug and two screws.
Only way to tell is have a scan tool hooked up an check the DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes . Most auto part stores will check these for free . Could be a simple wiring problem ,or a sensor of some kind or a brake control module . Don't know with out knowing what codes are stored .
check if the fan is driven from the water pump shaft
if so replace the fan clutch ( viscous fan hub) as it is not locking up to pull the air at idle
If electric ensure that the fans are coming on as required
the problem is a lack of air flow through the radiator at no or low road speeds and that come back to fan operation
