Where is the evap vent valve soleniod located on
The evap vent valve is locate behind the left rear tire,You will need to remove the tire and the plastic covers, the vent valve is located on the top of the filler pipe, filler pipe is the pipe in which you fill your gas tank.the valve sits atop the pipe near the top, i will enclose a diagram picture to help you locate it. you can also test valve with a battery when you remove it. the valve should allow you to blow air through it and then when power is applied to valve it should close and no air should flow through it.hope this is helpful. good day.
How do i fix a code 0449 on my 2010 impala
Hi there:
There is a vent solenoid in the back left (drivers) side on the inside of the fender by the filler tube where the gas goes to the tank. Just replace it on Chevy cars for this code, it's called an Canister Vent Solenoid or EVAP Vent Solenoid.Usually this is a bad vent solenoid or a broken wire going to it; You would need a lift. The vent solenoid is near the evap canister which is tucked up into the body by the gas tank. I dont' think you can even see the wires without pulling the canister down...Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.
2010 Impala is stuck in park. What do I do?
t is most likley a disconnected wire underneath the shifter / shifting column. Had my 2010 Impala LTZ for three weeks and it happened, had it towed tot he dealer they said they don't know why it cam loose but replaced the connector and tpaed it up tight with electrical tape. This usually happens with older cars with lots of miles, so they say but ive been driving for over 20 years andhave hadc old old cars and new ones and this NEVER happened Good Luck.
