I have a 2010 Chevy impala. Reduced engine power
Hi Rosalee_IM, The codes your vehicle is storing are for low voltage from your accelerator pedal position sensor and a gross evaporative emission leak. The code P2122 and P2138 are directing you to test the accelerator pedal position circuit and/ or sensor. This is the cause of the reduced power concern you are feeling. The P0455 is telling you there is a large leak in the evaporative emission system. The most common cause for this code is a loose or incorrectly installed gas cap.I hope this helps clarify the concerns you are experiencing. If you'd like more information on how to trouble shoot the problems, drop me a line. Please include the model Impala you have,(LS,LT or LTZ) and the engine size. I will do my best to get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks, Chuck
My radio in my 2010 impala quit working yesterday.
Find and locate ur fuse box on the back side of that fuse cover should b a diagram of what fuse is for wat and how many amps it is. Never replace a fuse with a lower amp fuse then reaquired, ex. Say a cig light is a 25amp fuse n u replaced it with a 15amp, this is a no no!! But anyway read the cover and hold it up like the cover shows and look for the fuse that says radio and pull that fuse out. If the metal inside is not one swiggly line then the fuse is blown. Do not have the car on while messing with electricals, car must b off, u may throw a code or screw smtg up
Troubleshooting code po411 2010 Chevy impala
secondary air injection incorrect flowwith out being able to hook up a scanner and see live engine datathe most common cause that i have seen is a bad solenoid sensor and a bad check valve in the secondary air pump
Is it ok to drive with the p0449 code on
This is an EVAP emissions code. I am pretty sure it is a vent solenoid code. Yes it is o.k. to drive it with this code. Typically it will have a relatively easy and somewhat inexpensive repair. It would be better to have the problem repaired as soon as possible. This will enable you to turn the light off. If another more severe problem should come up the light will turn back on to alert you. If you do not repair the issue you will never know if another issue pops up that could be more serious since the check engine light will already be on. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at
