2011 Cadillac SRX - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

I have the same car and I am having the same issue, it feels like the AWD isn't working. Have you found a solution yet?

The pedal has a little rubber stop on it. When the pedal is all the way off push it just a little and watch the light. If it turns off the little stop is bad. It goes in a small hole where the pedal arm rests against a bracket. Also a broken switch can cause this

Probably a Bluetooth compatibility problem. Just because they paired doesn't mean the drivers in both devices are currently compatible (one of them may have been updated without you knowing). You will have to dig deeper and determine what the current Bluetooth versions are on each and then check compatibility.

If you are asking about the coolant level sensor, it is at the bottom of the coolant expansion tank. It is part of the tank so if it goes bad you have to change the whole tank. If you are having a problem with the tank reading low when it is full, the first thing to check is the type of antifreeze that you put in it. I had a water pump changed on my 2001 deville and they used green anti freeze and the sensor wouldnt read it.

Look for short in wire harness coming from main body of vehicle to the hatch at top by the hinge. I had a wire wear through insulation and positive wire was rubbing on ground to hatch acting as if you were hitting the switch. Just look for worn wire at the point it is nearest metal access hole where wire harness comes through, should be obvious. Good Luck, FREE-PPV.com

Will not crank over or will not run ?

Normally all parking lights are controlled by the light switch. First turn turn on the parking lights and second turn turns on the head lights. Are you sure it is not your break lights staying on? if this is your break lights - look at break pedal for break light switch staying on or not adjusted correctly. Does your car battery gets drained from your break lights staying on?

Try jump starting it from another car. or that thing should have a volt gauge while trying to crank it if it drops lower then 11volts it wont start. or if you can hook up a volt gauge to the battery if not just try jump starting it.

Be very careful this is not for a novice it can deploy and seriously hurt you have it done by a professional

I am betting your alternator is shot and not charging the battery. The symptom would be everything is dead on the dash and lights. Battery will need to be fully charged and alternator replaced. Make sure to have the alternator checked for free at an auto parts store first.

the little pin in the steering wheel hub is not engaging the cams in the indicator lever. If you have had the steering wheel of lately then remove it again and ensure that the pin is in the right place.

Check air filter,clean throtle body,fuel filter.any codes.

HmmmmCall GM customer service in Canada or USA tell them what your problem is its a 2011 tell them!!!! make sure you get customer service have your Serial number ready and they will get you to a dealer that will fix it. Make a big complaint and tell them you are going to give this car back to them just atch ans see, I fthey dont cal back again and speak to head manager trouble shooting and complaints of GM.The way they sound they cant find any problems sounds worse than that its a caddi they have dash ,cluster electrical problems you still have warranty its a year and half old :)Joe

Hi there:From the book:Conditions for setting the DTCC0035, C0040, C0045, or C0050One of the following conditions exists for 0.02 seconds:- A short to voltage - the wheel speed sensor signal circuit and wheel speed sensor return circuit voltages are both greater than 4.25 volts. - A short to ground - the wheel speed sensor signal circuit and wheel speed sensor return circuit voltages are both less than 0.75 volts. - An open - the wheel speed sensor signal circuit voltage is greater than 4.25 volts and wheel speed sensor return circuit voltage is less than 0.75 volts. Conditions for Clearing the DTC- The condition for the DTC is no longer present and the DTC is cleared with a scan tool. - The EBCM automatically clears the history DTC when a current DTC is not detected in 100 consecutive drive cycles. Diagnostic AidsC0035, C0040, C0045, or C0050If the customer comments that the ABS indicator is ON only during moist environmental conditions (rain, snow, vehicle wash, etc.), inspect the wheel speed sensor wiring for signs of water intrusion. could be a torque converter clutch solenoid problem, have it checked out.

Have you checked your relays? Make sure it is not coming from your engine.
