2007 caddy dts. Tires
Hello, It sounds like you have a bad sensor. If you put air in tire and have not driven the car the drive it first (about three miles) The sensors are part of the valve steam. To activate them you have to drive the car.

Spark plug diagram for 2000
Hello, The spark plugs are located on top of the engine under the ignition module assembly. On the driver side of the engine there is a electrical connector, disconnect it. there are 8 10MM bolts, remove them, Gently pull straight up, wiggle it while pulling up, the 4 front plugs are under neath. The boots may stay on the plugs pull them off and put them back on the module assembly. That was for the front plugs. The procedure for the rear is the same except you will need to remove the bracket and valve for the secondary AIR system to allow room to remove the ignition module assembly. Spark plug gap is .050 of an inch. Spark plug torque is 15 lbs, ft. Hope this helps

HAVE A 2001 CADILLAC.WILL NOT
Welcome to FixYa.com
Though we here at FixYa can help lead you to the right direction and most of the time walk you through the repair, but transmission problems are the hardest. I can tell you what has happen to these cars when overdrive goes out. It would be easier to have the transmission checked out by a professional to ensure the best quality repair.
How many miles on car ?
Have you regularly changed the filter and fluid at the specified times ruffly 45,000.00 miles ?
Does reverse bang hard into gear ?
Regards, Lee Davidian

I'm replacing the engine in my Cadillac I know
Do this right and find a running engine in the same car with the same 8th digit of your serial number. Do not trust one removed from any car to purchase. To many hackers out there that change numbers for a sale
This way you get an engine you heard that ran and it will be the right one the first time

Battery goes dead. disconnect the battery and jump
Get a battery check first and have it charged. Then, switch off all lights, radio, ignition switch. Reconnect the charged battery negative ground first, then, the positive terminal. Find if there's a spark. if it does, then, you must check your electrical wiring since this is grounded. Do not connect the positive terminal. Clear the grounded connection first. If no spark, go ahead. Crank your engine, and let it run at neutral position. And check the voltage that goes out of the alternator, this must be more than 15 volts DC. Then check the voltage output of the regulator which must be 13
to 14 volts DC. However, if you cannot get the right voltage at the
alternator., you have to replace it. Then, you can check the regu-
lator output voltage, and get the right voltage. Get this done,. and
send your e-mail for the result.

Question. I've read about using Sea Foam in my
Works great in all cars, do a compression test before and after and you'll see results.
Rev the car to around 2500 rpms and run it through a vacuum line while the car is running (brake booster line works good) if the car doesnt stall turn it off immediatly and let the car sit for 5 minutes. Restart it and enjoy the smoke show, rev the motor a few times and take it for a drive. I do this in all my cars (Volvo s70, Isuzu Trooper, and Ford Taurus) and do this treatment every oil change.

1939cadi voltage regulator adjustments
Remove the regulator cover and inspect the relay contacts (remove the negative battery terminal) and interior of the case for rust or corrosion. If the contacts have a rough pitted appearance, you can lightly file them (with a very thin small file) (don't use sandpaper or emery cloth). Check the resistors under the base for tight connections. Also, check the brushes in the generator for length and spring tension. Tighten the armature and field connections--they shouldn't wiggle in the generator body. Check the fan belt for condition and proper tension. Make sure the generator turns freely with the belt off--no noise or side to side movement. Check the body-to-frame grounding strap for condition and end-bolt connections. Good luck!

My cadillac dts has bad vibrations over 50 mph ,
very well could just be a bad tire. I have replaced brand new tires straight from manufacturer you should check for a bad wheel or balance of tire and perferabley somewhere where they do a phase match balance.
