Sounds like your switch or wire break, split the switching unit use a meter to see if you have voltage going to the wiring at the switch. Best place to start if you have the fuses checked

the 3 issues on this are head gasket that you said is good, water pump or most common a leak somewhere.

the cam shaft sensors (LH & RH) on the 2.0, 2.5 & 3.0L engines are located on the front of the engine just below the valve covers. see illustration

The center arm rest is attached to the console by 2 small Hex cap screws. The arm rest and intermediate slide panel are attached to the same hinge assembly with rivets. to replace the upper arm rest, 1st remove the assembly from the console by removing the 2 hex screws this will allow you to work outside of the vehicle on a work bench. 3 rivets hold the arm rest to the hinge. You will need to drill out the rivets using a 1/8" drill bit. and install the replacement arm rest using new 1/8" pop rivets. see illustration

That is a rather vague description. Need a better description of problem to offer a solution. What are the other symptoms? What repairs have you done so far? Are all the cylinders firing? Have you replaced the fuel filter?

Have you checked the oil, oil pump, thermostat and did you put in the proper ratio of antifreeze to water?

Check or replace your transmission fluid and look for leaks.

have you cleaned the throttle body? go to you tube to see how to do it? If that does not work, go to a parts store where they can check it with a tester in the port under the dash.

disconnect the battery and join the pos and neg cables together ,leave for a cup of tea and a ciggy then try again .this trick cures lots of faults on this model jaguar which is really a ford mondeo unlike my XJ4.0 straight six .Also go to www.jec.org the jaguars owners club web site ,

It is located under the center console.

Not a big deal, this code states that the battery was disconnected while ignition switch was on. happens all the times, just clear the code.

A door is not closing properly, or a door sensor is not working making the system think there is an open dood.

you just push down on the fuel door and it should spring up. If it doesnt there is a realese in side the trunk right below the fuel door.

There isn't one the transmission oil is checked at the fill plug on the side of the gearbox

Should be in the Fuse box under the dash. On the inside of the fuse panel should be a diagram with fuse numbers & location.

Remove the rear seat you will find the retaining bolts for the seat belt. Remove the bolts they are attached to the floor. Replace same way.
