you use jag diagnostic equipment to reset the adaptions and do a drive cycle at a normal drive with no hard full throttle/hard acceleration etc so the ecm can learn normal driving and adapt itself

sounds like one of the switches has failed on the drivers door latch that means a new latch unit is needed or it may be the drivers door module has failed more than likely the latch

the release switch has failed {common problem} remove the tailgate interior trim panel remove wiper arm etc undu large nut remove wiper motor/fixings disconnect the switch connector and remove the switch from the outside of the glass IF YOU ARE LUCKY if its siezed you have to be very carefull and drill down the side of the thread to release it {watch the glass}

try reprogramming it by sitting in with doors closed switch ignition on then off 5 or 6 6 times until a beep then press any button on remote to program you may have to repeat on spare keys

have you got a jatco auto box? they are very troublsome have changed 3or4 gearboxes in one week between the 1999 to 2005 years thay are poor GOOD LUCK

the fuel pressure reg is in the tank the transmission filter is in the box

the pats antitheft system d. oes recognise your key check the reluctor ring around the ign lock. it may need reprogramming by someone with jag diag equipment code 15 is a mismatch in the pats system

Low brake fluid level has got the brake light lit. The ABS light can be ignored. It wont effect normal braking.

do you mean xk8? if so remove air filter housing cover, breather hose, and intake trunking. on rh bank then 7mm headed bolts remove coil cover and coils and you will find the plugs. other side the same only no air filter or hoses

squeeze the clip which should enable you to pull it off

sounds like the pats (passive anti theft system) is not recognising the chip in the key try a spare key if you have one if not try to get it reprogrammed you may have to go to a jag dealer to sort this out may be the reluctor coil around the ignition barrel has gone faulty

remove the air filter housing and check the wiring has not rubbed through the air filter support bracket the other prob may be water ingress in the engine control module.

the common cause with xtype diesel poor perfomance is the hose going to the intercooler behind the front bumper liner. has come adrift because the hose clip has corroded away cos it sits in a foam sealer which retaines water. remove lower bumper undertray locate hose on rhs as looking towards front you will see the problem throw away the foam seal refit hose with new hose clip if thats not the prob check that hose for damage cos it sounds like you have a air leak in the induction system after the tubocharger
