cooling system is air locked to bleed it run engine then when cool remove the expansion bottle cap and top up then do it again a couple more times to get the air out

your security system might be on. 1. check battery. 2. using your key lock and unlock your drivers door couple of times and then try starting your car. 3.if no luck then try starting it with your spare key. if starts with spare, then you need a new chip in your main key. good luck.

its behind the front bumper liner on the lh on a uk car! remove lh front wheel. then the wheel arch liner and the bumper liner

it was a common prob with those cd changers in the boot/trunk disconnect it and let the head unit connect to it if still no good and the wiring/connectors are good the cd unit is faulty

its the drivers door latch faulty i think.worked on these cars before i retired and it was a common prob

bank 1 is the 3 cylinders at front of car sensor 2 is the downstream sensor in the exhaust manifold. the lower one on the cat. remove the air filter and housing for access the connectors are easy to disconnect squeeze the little tag and pull appart the only way to test is to monitor the switching using suitable diagnostic equipment and check the heater integrity

your car i think will be the xj350 all alloy car with air suspension. the normal cause of this problem is one of the level sensors on the front and/or rear or the little straps that retain the link rods for the sensor atached to the suspension arm broken off

it is possible that the shocky on that side is faulty so a replacement would fix it if that is the fault rather than being a "frozen "unit it is more likely a broken unit that is allowing the suspension to bottom out on the bump Take it to an accredited front suspension shop and have them do a front end check

not acceptable to alter as a matter of convenience indicates sloppy shop work as not reading the fault codes first to find the problem does take it to an accredited service center that has experience on your make of vehicle and have it done professionally

sounds like a bad earth your car is the xj350 all alloy body car and they suffer from bad earths all the earth/ground studs are bonded to the body. and break away check around under bonnet behind headlamp units and all engine bay.then behind front wheel arch liners, and try the boot area,to repair using the correct way is to get the proper kit but redrill and refix will work ok if you use some suitable corrosion protection steel and alluminium together corrode together easilly

Hello it simply means that the OBD-II monitor testing is not complete , ML might come on , but really it has no other effect

yor car has blown the intercooler hose off; its underneath the main radiatior take off the lower bumper liner. on the rh side looking from underside you will then find the hose clip has rusted through due to a sponge seal holding water. bin the sponge change the clip with a stainless one

is your car the old xk8 or the later all alloy model? if its the older car you can take out the little star plug on the J gate put a little object like your key and insert it to release it the later car use you key in the trunk key to open it and recharge/replace or jump the battery
