When turning on headlights in 07 elantra dash lights go out
Hello Vivian Levens,
There are a number of
TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETINS on
Hyundai wiring... and it appears the company has been taking these problems seriously... with replacement connector and wiring kits...
This might be one of those RARE OCASSIONS I
would recommend taking your car back to the dealer.

The issue you are speaking about sounds like the GROUNDING system is inadequate ... (bad or open ground connections).
Hope this helps!

2007 Hyundai elantra trunk button not working and power locks and interior lights don't work
It's a surprise that an Elantra would last 10 years. Time to get this issue to a mechanic, and trade the car in. Look for a car that will last without issues and problems. I owned a new Hyundai Elantra for four years, and paid for it twice from so many electrical, steering, and suspension issues. I now drive an Infinity for the past 7 years, drove it for 160,000 miles, and not a single repair bill. Just maintenance. Other cars you may consider are Volkswagen, Volvo, Lexus, and Audi.
What is minimum rotor thickness for 2007 elantra
Most rotors won't make it past one set of pads for thickness. If they are smooth and not warp(pedal or steering wheel shakes when braking), Reuse them. Using this theory you can get up to 3 sets of pads off the rotors. The minimum thickness is stamped on the edge of the rotors.
Driving on the highway and suddenly cannot accelerate. all the dash lights come on as if the engine has stalled. hooked up charging pack and engine turned over but will not start.
Check your spark plugs. Your fuel pump is electrical, and your engine is in fact turning over, meaning that your battery is fine.
You'll need to remove your spark plugs and investigate them individually, look for signs of carbon scoring or vaporization. If you see that your plugs are in bad shape, replace them and take a look at your oil. If it looks a little too low, you may be burning oil. If your oil is lower than you remember and being consumed, this means you will keep having this problem (as well as inevitable scoring of your cylinders after a while) until you solve the oil consumption issues.
If your plugs are fine, check your intake for both air and fuel. Your fuel pump may be pressurizing, but perhaps the atomizer is clogged, so the engine can't reach the fuel/air ratio required for ignition.
