Basically, You can't! That light is on for a Reason! The OBD electronics has detected a problem with one or more of the air bags. The only sensible way to turn off the light is to fix whatever the problem is. It is NOT a good idea to 'Bypass' the light as the airbags might not work when you need them! I'm not sure about Australian prices but I've seen some really basic OBD2 Code Readers for about £25.

It looks like fuse 13 is for the Brake Pedal Position Sensor. I'm assuming your vehicle has an automatic transmission and you need to press the brake pedal to get it to start. This could be a wire 'shorting out' to somewhere it shouldn't. Basically the electric power going down the wire is jumping across a gap and not going where it's supposed to go. Hunting electrical 'shorts' is a pain in the tailbone if you don't know electrics so take it to a good auto electrician. They'll have the tools and the knowledge to sort it out.

There is no need to reload the firmware. If it is faulty, replacement and reinstallation using the factory software tool is required.

Try running a bottle of Extreme Clean Fuel System Cleaner through it. Clean the connector contacts on the o2 sensors. Make sure the coolant system is full and no airlocks.

Go to the parts store and they can fix you up with a cp bypass belt. I had to do the same thing.

It all depends on what engine or if your truck is 2whl or 4x4. But usually 2001 thru 2007 will interchange.

If you want to reactivate the horn honk feature:

1. Press and hold both the lock and unlock buttons on the remote for at least two seconds.
2. Watch for the hazard lights to flash once. The horn should honk one time.
