Safe/disarm the Airbag system by removing the negative battery cable for 5 minutes prior to the start of work, then remove the Airbag capsule from the steering wheel by removing the four machine screws at the rear of the steering wheel, they are down on deep wells, I believe they are 8mm heads, take a flashlight and look first, they used a number of diff screws types so confirm I am right. Once the Airbag capsule is removed remove the large nut under it that retains the steering wheel, then using a steering wheel puller (available from any auto parts store for less than $6) remove the steering wheel, you now have access to the parts that will need to be replaced or tightened if it is a tilt wheel.

Check the throttle position sensor with an ohm meter that has peak hold features. You may have a dead spot in the potentiometer winding.

1. Fuel 2. Spark 3. Air-proper timing Verify that you do have a fully charged battery. Any voltage below 9.5 Volts while cranking will not fire the coils properly. Test for fuel issues by spraying a little carb. cleaner so that it can be drawn into the intake while cranking. If it starts for a minute, it's a fuel issue. Check by listening to see if you can hear the fuel pump running when you first turn the key on. Listening through the gas filler tube with the cap removed while someone else turns the car from off to on is the best way to hear the pump running for a few seconds. Spend a minute or two checking wiring in engine compartment to make sure no little animals have been chewing. Other than those issues, you could have a timing issue and will need to see if the timing is set properly, then there are the ignition components but you usually would get a DTC to indicate a problem there. If it's a mechanical vent flap, might have a loose cable. If it's electronic, might be your heater and / or A/C unit that is bad.

Clean MAF and Throttle Body. Look for codes.
