2007 dodge nitro so the fuses for my door locks and wiper pump keep blowing. Took the fuse box out checked all the wires. There is no exposed wires or wires crossing. Anything else it could be.

What # fuse's J5 25amp , J4 25amp , M 30 15amp , M13 20amp M33 10amp . All these fuse's are power supply's for door modules and to the wiper / washer switch . The washer pump is controlled by the totally integrated power module . I suggest you google TIPM - dodge totally integrated power module . Chrysler , Dodge , Jeep all use this componet . Also watch youtube videos on finding a automotive electrical short . That's what you have a direct short to ground on those power supply circuits

I touched both poles of my battery on my 2007 dodge nitro which fuse do I need to change to restore power

If you reversed poles on the battery. You need to have it scanned. See which ones read. If none read, then you have to start disconnecting them one at a time till some thing reads. This is a problem that one computer has shorted. It shorted to the data lines.

The horn has stopped working

Typically the electrical connection between the moving steering wheel and fixed steering column is the culprit. There are different names for this type of connector but it is usually in the form of some type of clock spring like device. You don't want to mess with it because you will be getting into airbag country. KABOOM! Dealer or skilled specialty automotive shop should replace.

Nitro. Why doesn't it upshift?

If your vehicle with a Nitro engine is not upshifting and you're getting a P0750 code, it indicates that there is a problem with the shift solenoid "A". This solenoid is responsible for controlling the hydraulic pressure inside the transmission that helps to activate the clutches and bands that are responsible for shifting gears. There are a few reasons why the shift solenoid "A" may not be functioning properly, which could lead to the transmission not upshifting. These reasons include:
  1. Malfunctioning Shift Solenoid "A": The shift solenoid "A" could be faulty, stuck, or damaged, preventing it from functioning properly.
  2. Wiring Issues: There could be issues with the wiring or connections leading to the shift solenoid "A," which could cause it to malfunction.
  3. Low Transmission Fluid: If the transmission fluid is low or dirty, it could prevent the shift solenoid "A" from functioning properly, causing the transmission to not upshift.
  4. Internal Transmission Problems: There could be internal problems within the transmission, such as a clogged valve body, damaged transmission bands, or worn clutches, which could cause the shift solenoid "A" to malfunction.
It is recommended to take your vehicle to a certified mechanic or dealership to diagnose and repair the issue, as transmission issues can be complex and require specialized knowledge and equipment to fix properly.

Dodge nitro 2007- Never had any problems purchased 2012. Yesterday the wipers went on and will not shut off. Today on way to work no signal blinkers

You need to have the BCM (body control module) scanned for faults. This requires a dealer level tool.
