Was it a dual filament bulb?

First step should be to see what trouble codes are set - use a good code reader.

There is a short to ground somewhere in the circuit that the fuse protects. It could be one of the motors for the seats that has shorted out, or it could be on any wire that is on that circuit. Wires can get chaffed, or bent around edges and the insulation gets worn off. Then when the exposed power wire touches metal, it causes a spark, shorting to ground like that, and blows the fuse at the same time. You will have to kind of track that circuit down. I would start at the motors on the seats, note where all the connections are, and follow the wiring path as best you can. You might try unplugging individual parts, like the individual motors or parts of the circuit where connectors are, and then see if a new fuse still blows, you may be able to track it down that way. Wherever the problem is, there is probably quite a bit of heat associated with the shorting. When you are feeling around, keep that in mind. Keep in mind also that without a wiring diagram, you can't be certain that the power seats are the only thing on that circuit. It is possible, maybe even probable, but you would need to verify it with a wiring diagram showing the power seats circuit. good luck.

Pull the headrest up toward the ceiling as far as you are able. There is a small plastic button on the side of one of the metal mounting rods (that go down into the seat). Depress and hold the button and pull up again. The headrest will come right out.

Get under the engine and attach a car battery charger red lead to the heavy red wire on the starter, connect the black wire of the charger to any clean bare metal part. In 15 minutes, you will be able to open the doors. Or, call a locksmith out.

Check the fuse and relay for the Front Blower. You can swap front the back to test the relay.

You should NOT be driving this vehicle if it is in limp mode. You will need to pay a Good Auto-electrician to look at this problem. All modern cars and trucks are fitted with electronic control units referred to as the PCM and the TCM. P1698 refers to these units not communicating properly with each other. So the vehicle goes into a safety set up until the problem it fixed, Limp Mode.

Seek professional help intermittent problems are hard to figure out, but Chrysler has had connector problems for years.

If turn signals work on trailer when headlights are off, but won't when headlights are on it still sounds like the ground is not good enough to allow the extra load. This happened to me and it was driving me nuts. I had to remove the ground wire and wire brush it till it shined, When I reconnected, problem gone. Also, make certain you have a good ground at the lights on the trailer. I sprayed the ground wire with battery protector spray in the hope of preventing corrosion.
