Remove the upper radiator hose and the heater hose next to it, then find the 2 bolts holding the tstat housing on and remove them, use a rubber mallet to tap the housing loose then remove the old tstat clean gasket surfaces then reinstall everything. here it is, BCM the causes are :lamps shorted. right side of car if is USA car.blinker switch lever is bad.scan the PCM see if lamp fails or lever fails.or BCM bad.not scanning it is missing THE BOAT big time. You can wire the 12v lighter plug directly to battery voltage and a good ground to ground it. You'll need an inline fuse though to protect against surges etc (10 amps would be good).

i would avise having the diagnostic equipment connected whilst driving car as this is an intermitent fault, this would need to be done by a qualified mechanic , and will show what is causing the problem if the OBD show everything is ok
