Having trouble starting after fill up

need more info to be sure, you could have something as simple as gas cap not being on properly after fill up, there is a sensor on some cars that can set a check engine light under these conditions, also you could have a fauly emmisions valve which is causing fuel to go directly into the intake, the fuel canister could also get flooded out with this condition

2008 acadia crankshaft relearn

CKP SYSTEM VARIATION LEARN PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT:

  • The crankshaft position (CKP) system variation learn procedure is required when the following service procedures have been performed, regardless of whether DTCP0315 is set:
  • Engine replacement
  • Engine control module (ECM) replacement
  • Crankshaft damper replacement
  • Crankshaft replacement
  • CKP sensor replacement
  • Any engine repairs which disturb the crankshaft to CKP sensor relationship. The scan tool monitors certain component signals to determine if all the conditions are met to continue with the CKP system variation learn procedure. The scan tool only displays the condition that inhibits the procedure. The scan tool monitors the following components:
  • CKP sensor activity-If there is a CKP sensor condition, refer to the applicable DTCthat set.
  • Camshaft position (CMP) signal activity-If there is a CMP signal condition, refer to the applicable DTC that set.
  • Engine coolant temperature (ECT)-If the engine coolant temperature is not warm enough, idle the engine until the engine coolant temperature reaches the correct temperature.

How do I diagnose a recurring blown fuse in a gmc acadia 2009 50 v causes car to get stuck in park, no power windows, no lights, no temperature controls, power locks

You buy the GM factory manual and then use the wiring diagrams to track down the systems the fuse supplies power to, and one by one you go through each circuit until you find the short circuit. There is no cut and dry way that works every time to find this type of an automotive electrical problem, I have been doing auto electric for 25 years and seldom does the same repair fix more than one car or truck. You can also rent the manuals for download at this site for about $40 per year, a great deal. www.alldatadiy.com

Our 07 Acadia has power

it sounds like the handle release switch is bad.you could replace it your self as long as you have alot of patience and don`t bend things to do the job.if not then check for a price at a repair shop if you don`t want to go to the dealer.

Hi I have a 2009 2.0

sorry but you are like my friend john ,i make a clutch last 200,000 kms and two set of brake pads in that time and he ¿?¿? new pads and a new clutch in 8000kms ,and the new slave ,yes it could be damaged inside where you keep resting your foot on the clutch ,the seal has gone ,ok us old hands would just a fit a new rubber but ?? dealer?? I know how you you do it ,holding a vehicle on a hill with the clutch ,sitting at the lights with foot on clutch ,changing gear riding clutch so its sounds like a auto ,excessive revving and riding clutch to pull away ,you should have had my driving instructor ,a clip around the ear for not using the clutch properly ,wack across the wrist for holding gearstick and not steering wheel ,the list continues .Sorry this clutch is your own fault ,
