it sounds like the handle release switch is bad.you could replace it your self as long as you have alot of patience and don`t bend things to do the job.if not then check for a price at a repair shop if you don`t want to go to the dealer.

Is the air filter an aftermarket?

Try and activate your blue-tooth in the phone and let it search for the devices, if found you will need to accept and mesh up the system .
Follow instructions as mentioned in your car manual.

You should get a service manual for that year car since you have to take the steering wheel off and it may be a difficult task if you have tilt steering.

I assume this is not a usa car look to see if the throttle cable is to tight ??

sorry but you are like my friend john ,i make a clutch last 200,000 kms and two set of brake pads in that time and he ¿?¿? new pads and a new clutch in 8000kms ,and the new slave ,yes it could be damaged inside where you keep resting your foot on the clutch ,the seal has gone ,ok us old hands would just a fit a new rubber but ?? dealer?? I know how you you do it ,holding a vehicle on a hill with the clutch ,sitting at the lights with foot on clutch ,changing gear riding clutch so its sounds like a auto ,excessive revving and riding clutch to pull away ,you should have had my driving instructor ,a clip around the ear for not using the clutch properly ,wack across the wrist for holding gearstick and not steering wheel ,the list continues .Sorry this clutch is your own fault ,

thinking here---- trying to remember ----had this before with one of these or was it a opel astra ,anyway on the bottom of the inlet manifold was a breather pipe ,something here as i remember but i cannot remember what for the life of me i did ,i think its some sort of valve or something and it was gone and it sucked oil up --- just cant remember sorry but i know i cured it by blocking the pipe off with a bit of orange tree thin branch .Its just that i do so many cars a week i cannot remember everything

Good Evening, I'm sorry to hear your shift knob broke however it does sound like you are on the right track to a solution. As far as ease of repair I would tell you it is best to repair what you have instead of trying to put in an aftermarket one. In most cases it is an easier fix which most repair parts you can find at your local auto recycling yard (salvage yard/junk yard). Hope this helps. Actually this can turn into a real problem, To access the headlamps on the Acadia, you have to remove the front fender or the wheel well cover. Either way is time consuming and you want to be sure not to break any of the plastic clips holding it together. If you would like to try this your self, go here for a color pictorial on the process with instructions. Hope this helps. and remember, never touch the glass part of the bulb with your fingers. I have to say that the engineers really dropped the ball on this design. is absolutely crazy that it should be this much trouble to change a bulb.

You are not going to like this but answer but u must remove the front wheel and then remove the plastic inner finder lining and they are right there and easy to see and get out, this is for both sides, the dealer charges $125 per side to change the bulbs, so suggest u do it yourself, it is very easy to remove the liner so don't be put off by the task. I have verified this info with a felllow GMC dealer technician

1)first open the hood
2) check on the back of the headlight there is a socket coming out.
3) remove this socket which is the one that holds the bulb inside
4) replace bulb and put it back
