Car over heating
check to make sure you have fluid in your radiator. second if you do make sure it is flowing through your engine. do this by starting your car and removing the radiator cap. caution is advised do not do this if the car is hot. only attempt if car is cold. you should be able to see if the fluid is moving or not. let it run for a bit check tempeture gauge if it shows hot or normal and nothing is flowing, probably the thermostat.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. That is always possible. It could be a bad plug, wire, coil, coil pack also. You could have a bad fuel injector now. You need to test the spark on the car and test the fuel pressure also. Check your fuses and make sure none have blown.

In bmw 1 series 120d,
Hi, Well, if both are onat the same time it meanssit tight, you're about to eat it.Sorry, couldn't resist. It would generally mean a problem exist in the sensing units of those two systems. When you start the carthe computer does a self test of the computerized and safety items. There could be simple fixes like a something being placed on the seat (passenger) and the seat belt not fastened. Most newer systems have a airbagoff option so certain passengers that can't handle the blast of the bag, don't get hurt.. Avoid having anything on the passenger front seat. When you start the vehicle the computer sets a fault code, wqhich can be erased after a thorough inspectionof those systems.Focus on the seat pressure switches. AND, of course the fuses. Good luck, I hope it''s something so minor. _Ned_.

BMW 1 series 118d ,now
You need to contact a BMW zone office and ask to speak to and meet area Zone rep. That's unacceptable, I'm surprised that the dealer let you have the car back after 3rd replacement. I used to work for BMW and it's either a MAJOR defect in parts and design or you or someone else who drives your car doesn't drive a standard transmission car properly. Ask BMW if there are any "open campaigns" on your car... this should get a serious reply

Lights on right hand not
Make sure the light bulb is good for one. Pull it out and see if the filament is broken or if the glass is discolored. This is the most likely cause.

I have a BMW 130i
If when you do try to start it and you can hear a click. It could be the starter going out. One way to check is when it happens hit the starter with something hard, several times, you will not hurt it. you might have to try it a couple of times. If it starts then the starter is bad. replace it.
