My control for my mirrors does not work.i have
In some vehicles, the fuse that controls the external mirrors is the same fuse that looks after the Cigarette lighter, and in some models the car radio.
If your cigarette lighter is not working check all of the fuses individually to find the blown one. Also on the rear of some cigarette lighters there is a fusable link type fusing wire. This has a wire similar to the older type house fuses, this melts when a short circuit occurs. When this happens the circuit is not complete. This type of lighter is found on some Toyota's and may have made it's way into Nissan's as well. Can't hurt to check it out.

Rattling noise when I press the gas pedal or when the vehicle is running idle.
Hi,Likely an exhaust heat shield. When the SUV is cold - after sitting for 4+ hours - crawl under the vehicle and see if any of the shields are loose that cover the exhaust pipes. If they are you can use sheet metal screws screwed into the shield and against the exhaust pipeto 'wedge' the shield so it doesn't move.GL,Td

How to troubleshoot 2008 xterra radio issues
As a professional automotive repair technician, I would go about diagnosing your radio issue in the same mannner that I would diagnose any other electrical component in your vehicle. The FIRST STEP in ANY vehicle diagnosis is to perform a function test and verify the customer complaint. (Check the operation of the system to determine what is functioning correctly and what is not).Since this post has no customer complaint, we cannot get past step one.

How do you remove the stereo out of a 2008 nissan
Start by removing the whole dash board...you'll have a better access to the radio from there. Continue removing the bolts/nuts from the bracket it's connected to...follow all wire connections, and retrace all
steps your making. If you trace your steps you won't have a problem. Relatively simple procedure. 20-30 min job

Horn wont honk when doors locked using remote.
If you have a factory remote and the owners manuel there is a solution in the manuel. It tells you how long to hold down the lock button on the remote to reset it so the horn toots when you lock the doors. I do believe it to be 2 seconds or more. So you would lock the doors using the remote and don't let go of the button for at least 2 seconds. Hope this helped.

My 08' has 35,523 miles
Facts: Computer Analysis--just terminology,
no computers are used in vehicle diagnoses
A scanner is used to look at the same data your
vehicles processor sees
Any Check Light--requires that you check for codes,
diagnose those codes,not replace anything.
Then when you know why the light came on and the
codes were set,you proceed with a solution or fix
You don't turn off any System Malfunction Lights
as you loose the stored codes and they will just
come back
There are no dummy lights, stupid lights, they are
OBD2 System Malfunction Indicator Lights
(govt mandated for 30 years now)
Codes don't in most cases tell you anything is wrong,
such as your exhaust sensor,BUT something caused
the sensor to go out of range, and that wasn't diagnosed
and your back for round two. Only no warrantee
You go to a dealer--to buy a vehicle or for warrantee
work. NEVER after that
Local shop.more honest, cheaper and better results
