You need to rest the anti thief alarm.

Sounds like 1 of 2 things. Window regulator or the motor. Most of the time I see the window regulator not functioning correctly. Over time the regulator get stuck from debris and weather. You can try to take the door panel off to access it but your going to have to just play with it. BECAREFULL AND WATCH YOUR FINGERS!

Gotta love those Bosh electrical systems! Did they check the alternator / regulator? Short in the system causing it to go dead and loose programing.

Your best bet is to take it to the dealer. Sounds like you either need it reprogrammed or there is a problem with the board. The dealer will be able to diagnose this quickly.

Can you be more specific? Are you looking to turn off the check engine light? If so you need a VAG-COM diagnostic tool. Just resetting the light without correcting the issue will only be a very temporary fix, it will come back on as soon as the system detects the issue again.
