Truck cuts out on acceleration looses power.

After it has been running, it could be catalytic converters clogged. Pull a O2 sensor near the engine and see it it runs better. It will be loader. But if it does, replace the cats. Could also be a clogged fuel filter. They have the pressure to run the engine, but under a load, the volume isn't there.

There no 'kill switch' but the computer will stop the fuel pump in case the airbags are deployed.

Its often called an oxygen sensor and is located in the exhaust manifold or in the front pipe to the manifold. There is usually 2 sensors...One before the converter and one after the converter

High pitched whine while accelerating

remove the belt and start the engine ..IF THE NOISE disappear it might be idler bearings that driven by belt but if the noise still there check the pcv valve..

Ware is air fuel sensor heater circit in truck

That is a fancy way of saying OXYGEN sensor. The oxygen sensors are heated by a wire to get to a very high temp. When the heater wire breaks you get this error..

You can buy an insert kit and rethread the stripped head. Just be careful and get some pro help and advice when doing it . It's really not that difficult.

Toyota tacoma steering stiff when turning

did the fan belt fall off. for pump.? does it slip that belt? is the fluid at the correct level, (steering) , if stiff in air, (jacks) its serious issues. with steering.
