Radio frequently just stops broadcasting and eventually comes back on

Peggy, Is the radio actually switching off or do you just loose the radio station. If radio is shutting off, there must be a bad wire/ plug connection, loose plug, or maybe bad ground. If loosing station, have Arial/antenna connections checked, maybe upgrade to better antenna. Some stations just do not send out a strong signal which can also cause loss of station.

How do i replace hand rest lid console on toyota highlander 2009

Usually these compartments are hinged on either one side or the rear. You would remove the screws (probably Phillips head) and replace the old lid with the new. You should be able to order a new lid from the dealer or other source and I would wait until I received the new one before I removed to the old. Best of luck.

I have a 2009 Toyota Highlander The volume button

Call manufacturer of the unit. Toyota does not service audio systems in the vehicles so you need to go to the mfg or a audio store.

I have a 2009 Toyota Highlander the volume button

visit an auto part store like Oreilleys or AutoZone or Advance Auto parts and order a new stereo sometimes its not worth fixing what is broken instead replace it, you can also look in Walmart.com for a cheap replacement or visit your local Pawn shop, half the time people sell to pawn shops just to make money and not because anything is wrong with the object.

How bad is the vibration? If it's a bad vibration it could be a faulty CV joint or word U joint.

Remove front headrest

There is a button you need to press at the bottom of one of the headrest rods (it is actually part of the main seat), but it is located right where the rods of the headrest enter.

2009 Toyota Highlander with all

The key fob battery could be dieing, or there could be a chipped key in the truck, making it think you are trying to lock the key in the truck. I would replace the battery and check for any keys that may be in the vehicle. Keep me posted as to what you come up with.

REAR HATCH WILL NOT OPEN

Hi,

Thank you for contacting fixya.com.

Take the panel off by releasing the screws to get a proper angle to unlock the latch. You will have to pull the plastic inner panel. If you get that off then remove the metal panel. Now check whether the snap clip that is supposed to be attached to the outer handle rod is damaged or not.You need to replace them.

Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.

What size socket to remove oil filter cannister

K-D Tools 3253 End Cap Oil Filter Wrench This is a comment for this filter wrench I found on amazon.com here is the link-----The following is not my comment, but hopefully it'll help you.

http://www.amazon.com/K-D-Tools-3253-Filter-Wrench/dp/B0002SR4AY/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

I bought this tool to remove the filter housing on my 2009 Toyota Highlander 4-cyl. The filter housing seems to be made out of some composite material and I did not want to grab it with the pliers-type oil filter wrench. K-D Tools 3253 end cap wrench fit the housing perfectly and made the removal and the installation of the filter housing easy.

Uneven tyre wear on my 2009 Highlander?? Toyota

Highlanders usually go between 15-25k miles before needing tire replacement.

One suggestion is to bump the air pressure in your tires up to 35PSI vs. the recommended 30PSI.

There seem to be others with the same problem, maybe you can check out the forum at this link for more information.
