2009 Saturn VUE - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Power seat quit working on 2009 saturn vue hybrid. what should I check first?
2007 Saturn Vue:
I found a nicked wire under the hood, just past the fuse block (cabin side).
Despite not having any short, the wire corroded within its insulation. You "might" see some "green oxide powder" on the wire bundle and/or fuse block.
I was able to unclip the fuse block, disconnect the "positive lead", and pry it up enough to see an individual wire clip for the power seat. Push in the locking clip and pull the connector down. (disconnect the battery first).
Since the wire turned to powder within its insulation, it still read 12V, but had high resistance. Any nick in the insulation, and exposure to moisture would cause a similar issue. Other folks had reported similar problems within the cabin, on the outside wall, just left of the break peddle. You may wish to remove that panel (it extends under the car door), and look for corrosion there.

10 amp blown fuse
Sounds like it could be one of the wires in the lighting circuit has short to ground, could be caused by moisture making a positive wire connect to ground. Try a 20 amp fuse see if it blows again. If not you're fine. If it blows again replace with another relay rated at higher amperage. Otherwise will need to have the wiring circuit diagnosed which is expensive.
Also what was the amperage of the relay you used to replace the old one?

Radiator cap on saturn vue
First thing to try might be some "radiator stop leak".
I should recommend you buy the more expensive you can find, rather than the cheapest.
"Bar's Leak - aluminum" might work.
I have bought many containers, and find cheap usually means ineffective.
If that does not fix the leak, see if you can find a low pressure radiator cap, like about 4# pressure.
I am not sure anyone will know what you are talking about. Sorry.
In the old days, another solution would have been to remove the rubber ring on the radiator cap, which does not allow the pressure to build up.
Downside is, you must constantly watch the coolant level of the radiator ( Daily or more often) so you do not run out and destroy the engine.
God bless your efforts.

Stabilitrac what is a stabilitrac
Stabilitrak is a stability control system. The system monitors the wheel speed and it has a yaw monitor. That basically means that if your vehicle starts to fishtail or spin, your car will sense that and apply your antilock brake system to individual wheels to correct the movement and prevent your car from spinning out, or rolling over. It is a absolutely brilliant feature, and can save your butt from flipping your car.
