Probably not. All the vehicles are getting away from putting in fittings. Any time I replace a component I make sure the replacement has grease fittings.

there is a cover on the back of the handbrake (rear seat) that comes off after you pull out the two plastic screws in the rear. i was then able from the back seat to reach a wrench into the opening to tighten the nut attached to the brake cable just below the parking brake. you may need to pull up on the parking brake slightly while you turn the nut to keep the cable tight.

I had an odd type of fixture on my trailer too. I went to Tractor Supply and bought an adapter. I would imagine the brand of trailer you have should make adapter "PIGS" for what they sell. An RV parts outlet should carry something for you too.

Another place which may be able to help you is "U-Haul". They used to install trailer hitches and put permanent wiring into vehicles for an additional fee when renting their stuff.

The symptoms sound like a loose fan belt to me. That is normally described as a screech instead of a whistle but everything else matches.

This should not be hard to fix your self. Also a mechanic should be able to do it in 10 minutes including chatting to you.

If it is a fan belt your mechanic will know the sound 4 streets away too :)

For a short term fix and to prove if this really is the problem you can get your self something called "Belt Grip" It is in a spray on can. Follow the instructions on the can and if it fixed the problem you have the cause. Either get someone else to tighten your belt up or figure out how it's done. Basicaly you just loosen an adjusting bolt normally on the alternator and slide it out a little bit on it's track then tighten it up again.

You can do it if you really wanted to. You'll need to make sure the steering wheel is secured and that the wheels are perfectly straight or you will wreck the front tires. You will be adding unneeded mileage onto the the car by having the front wheels turning. would be better and less costly overall to get trailer that you can put the front end up on.

You need to replace the brake pads. They have wear indicator when the pad is worn it will make that sound. They have a metal piece that scrapes the brake disks letting you know its time to replace them. Follow the link to find out more.

its proberly what they call a secondary air intake pump - what this does is increase the air flow only on cold start up - the colder it is the longer it stays on - if the noise gets louder and you will notice - get it changed - we have the same problem over here on the vauxhall omega and corsa's - bless em got to be GM

The crank sensor is located inside the bell housing. You need to remove the starter motor to see/access it

possible vacuum leak could be a vent control hose under the dash, transmission actuator hose, brake booster leak, manifold leak run the fault codes to find the sensor that is reporting the fault
