Ignition key would not turn
In most cases the key cylinder is defective, but try this 1st. Get a tube of dry lock cylinder lubricant (about $4) from the hardware store and spray it into the lock cylinder and then work the key around and see if that Free's it up and it turns. If that doesn't work you will need a locksmith to replace the cylinder.

How to turn off the
Go to the local auto store where they will read the codes in your car for free. The diagnosis will tell you if you have any problems and what they are. After the diagnoses, before the reader is unhooked from the car, the parts employee reading the codes can push a button and turn off the light. you will find out if the car is in need and you will get the light turned off. If there is a problem , and you do not fix it, the light will probably just turn back on again. With a car that new you probably just have a dirty EGR exhaust gas recycling valve that needs to be cleaned. It is usually located on the throttle body and is easily accessed by removing the air intake tube from the air cleaner to the throttle body.
