More then likely the coiled ribbon electrical contact under the steering wheel is defective, it is called the "clockspring" contact.

call the dealer see what they recomend

replace the spiral spring wires under the steering wheel

go to auto zone, they can show you.

It may have a foreign material stuck in it.

replace the fuse and see if that did it.

Many things can cause your problem but the most common is either a heat shield or a retaining clip that has come loose. I suspect that the code should be p 0733 that is gear ratio 3 incorrect some problems that trigger the code are defective 3rd gear shift solenoid defective 3rd gear related gear set or clutch pack defective engine coolant temperature sensor unit defective valve body dirty transmission fluid that restricts the hydraulic passages not knowing the repair history , if the torque converter was not replaced in the overhaul then there could be rubbish in it that is now in the box the coolant temp sensor also reads excessive heat generated by the transmission oil cooler or the connection could be excessive oil temp reading first thing to check is the wiring and harness connections as a connection not properly fitted may be the problem it would help if you gave a history of the problem in the 14 miles --not shifting , slipping etc

The transmission is failing, have it rebuilt.

Maybe a leaking head is allowing coolant into one or more cylinders. Time for a professional repair.

08 Mazda 5 headlight problems. I replaced the drivers side low beam bulb, used a pair of needle nose to pull the retainer wire/ wire back to get the bulb out and in the back of the headlamp. I don't know if I broke the retainer or what, but the low beam is not near the same as it was before, I don't think the bulb is in the right position in the light housing. It's real tight and hard to get to the bulb, I could pull a bolt and slide the fuse block back, but I'm leary of causing a wiring problem! Any answers or help
