I have a related problem with a 2007 RX350. I was told by the dealer no less that there is a way fo disableing the power on prompt that asks you to agree not to use the GPS while driving. Its really annoying to have to press this each time you sart the car. I am worried that in the long run that this will lead to a failure of the touch screen. Any body know what the secret handshake is? I can be reached on hotmail if that helps. Fred0723
check for torn/ mud flap behind the wheel. Check that the plastic splash panel under the front of the car is not broken and hanging down and flaps with speed from the air passing under the car.
Considering the vehicle is fairly new, if you have put an aftermarket radio in, check the connections starting there and work your way across to the left side of the vehicle, will most likely be a connector or pig tail loose

So just to sumarize--when you press the INFO Button and select ADJUST CLOCK, for this time of year --Winter--set Daylight Savings Time to OFF--that will immediatly move your clock back 1 hour. All that selection does is just toggle 1-hour ahead and back--but it doesn't automatically select when DST is in use. Then select AUTO ADJUST to ON and leave it there; this will make sure your clock is always locked to GPS and is always accurate.
Not sure what you mean by over ride, but if you want to silence the little lady in the box with her annoying commands once a destination is set you can go back in to destinations and delete destination, or to silence her temporarily you can go into the menu/ info screen and you will see a "SUSPEND GUIDANCE" ICON . Once you click on that icon "Naggy Maggie", will be silenced until you click again at the same location, but your destination will be saved however you will notice the option will now be reading "Resume Guidance"... wish I had the same buttons for my kids...
If on the other hand you simply want to reroute you can go into destinations and you will have options to EDIT ROUTE or ADD to route, etc . Post back if you need more clarification..

Get underneath the engine and attach a battery charger positive to the positive lead on the starter and a clean bolt on the engine or bodywork. In 15 minutes, you will be able to open the door.
Alternatively there is the easy way, use the emergency door key that is hidden in the fob.
