The sensors are powered by and monitored by the Integrated Power Module (an all encompassing ECM/BCM/[PCM?]) Did you Cancel / Delete the code after changing the o2 sensor? You have to to make the light go out. I use this FIXD Scan module that displays to my iPhone. It will cancel codes. https://www.fixd.com/ Or as Paul says, the issue is the plug or the wiring to it.

New parts don't mean they work. Also check the pins in the sensor and plug. Bent pins are common and may be shorting the circuit. Is there a crank signal at all on your scan tool? Do you see a cam sensor signal? If you have a RPM gauge on the dash is there a reading on it? If it is showing RPM your engine should be seeing a timing signal. Most will at least run if they see one (cam)or the other (#1 position on the crank).

Try applying penetrating oil (WD 40) to the latch. Have somebody pull the cable open while you shake the hood by trying to move it up and down.

with RKE (key fob), or from inside car or both. if outside car , try both keys?(fob button) my guess , you didnt scan the PCM to see way my guess 2, car runs perfect day or night and all other electric work great? all doors all windows. etc.?

hello Greg your post invites wild guessing. do to lack of facts. sure no coolant, sure look,sure cap of rad , cold look, is it full. but... 1: are the fuses ok, we test them. 2: doed the blower blow air? on high. y/n. my wild guess yes. 3: no heat, on heat max and set to recirc, 4: next is engine heat ,it must be 180f +, or that is it. or more. 5: #4 passes ,then we next (SM steps here , read them) you next check the to 2 heater core hoses, as they pass from BAY to CAB. at the fire wall. in use, right side. the SM again, tells you the correct temp, here, 125 to 144f depends on engine, there. not stated. (my 3.7L does 144f) 6: if both are hot, (we do a hand test, ('skills") some use and IR thermal gun?a $19 tool. if ok then the dampers in core heater box, are stuck closed. 7: did you scan the PCM for HVAC errors yet? some will report ,damper motor errors.... some jeeps have HVAC self test, stated in the SM the Jeep offical, service manual, got one? if not ,get car serviced, at stage where dampers failed.

no symptoms stated, both sides 100% dead, then scan the pcm. it dont work like you think, its very complex. if it has an electric power steering system, the battery light indicates alternator failure ( belt or alternator problems ) and there is insufficient power to run the power steering again if the drive belt for the alternator is broken or missing , that will put on the battery light and there will be no power steering as the power steering pump will not be driven either

Vickie, your heater core and duct work for it, are all above the location you are getting drip from. So it makes sense that the heater core is leaking. Link to video will show whats up. Is the engine working normally? In park does the engine rev up ok? Test this first because you could spend a lot of time trying to find a transmission issue that is actually a engine problem. Find a code reader and check what codes the onboard computer is showing. This is the quickest, surest way to find the problem.

patriots have all kinds of cooling problems,make sure that you have enough tranny fluid in it and remember your torque converter uses about 4 quarts,the tranny has a cooler in the radiator,replace the radiator with one that has 2 rows of cooling,your radiator is going to die just like the rest of patriots
