I read your problem. What I would do, is check your 02 sensor, that is part of your emissions, and related to the cadillac converter, this would cause some cut outs now and then, and some hard starts. Some time garage mechanics can not find this code that comes up, especially if it comes and goes. Thanks Mike from fixya.

The fan is connected to the pulley by a clutch system. It can be turned when the car is off. This is set up the way it is as to limit the speed of the fan, when the engine speed is very high. The fan will only turn at a set speed because of the fan clutch. In other words, it's normal.

The dealership will supply, you might save money getting the whole corner from a salvage yard, (they will know what rear fits) often the knuckle and strut can bend with the lower arm.
