of course the battery is discharging with the lights on ... the lights use electricity from the battery. what makes you think your alternator is not working?

If they're rubbing on the brakes, it's most likely because with your V8 model, the front brakes are larger than those on the V6 model (it's not uncommon to see this, due to the greater power of your engine and higher speeds the car can reach). A spacer really won't help, because it moves the wheel outward, where you need more clearance in the inside diameter of the wheel. You'll need to find larger wheels to fit your car.

Please check your altenator because it has 6 diodes, a diode is a one way check valve for current.The alt will act normal and your cel light will not come on but will drain your battery,how to check,I have a autometer that will check diodes by starting and putting a small load on your system like your head lights and blower motor,it will check all 3 phase;s of you diodes,most of your auto stores has these and will check for you.I hope this helps you and please rate this solution

hi there have you turned the clutch arm upside down and pushed the cluch release brging into the cover cliping it in to the cover as these have a pull type clutch.
