Having major issues with 2009 GMC Acadia, check engine light is on and 14 codes come up, it runs terribly, we cannot drive it.

You need to identify what each code means and again you could have other codes popping up because a sensor could be depending on another faulty sensor

My daughter's 2009 Acadia - the back hatch will not open. We've tried using the key remote to unlock it, using the door switch to unlock - all to no avail. Suggestions?

I have similar issue with Smart Forfour. Its the electrics - there is a faulty connection between lock and brain. We removed the interior panels and applied a voltage independently to release the lock. Replacing the mechanism did not solve the issue, as its a wiring harness problem. Now have a "string" attached to the lock mechanism which we use to open the hatch from inside.

2009 acadia Works intermittently. Worse when driving slow or stops. What is wrong

Sounds like the magnetic clutch on the compressor may be defective or have an excessive air gap between the drive and driven plates (gap increases with engine temp)..

I have a 2009 GMC Acadia. What should the ERS mode be in on a normal basis?

Driver Shift Control (DSC) or Electronic Range Selection (ERS): This position (M-Manual / L-Low) allows the driver to utilize the DSC/ERS system. When the shift selector lever is moved to this position, the driver may select upshifts or downshifts by using the paddle switches located on the steering wheel/shifter. An upshift is requested by pushing either + button. Refer to the vehicle owner's manual for more specific DSC/ERS information. Driver Shift Control (DSC)/Electronic Range Selection (ERS) Refer to the owner's manual for specific instructions on DSC. The TCM will override shift commands when maximum engine speed is achieved and will protect from any downshift which may cause excessive engine RPMs. Electronic Range Select (ERS) Mode ERS mode allows you to choose the top-gear limit of the transmission and the vehicle's speed while driving down hill or towing a trailer. The vehicle has an electronic shift position indicator within the instrument panel cluster. When using the ERS Mode a number will display next to the L, indicating the current gear that has been selected. To use this feature: Move the shift lever to L (Low). Press the plus/minus button located on the shift lever, to increase or decrease the gear range available. When you shift from D (Drive) to L (Low), the transmission will shift to a pre-determined lower gear range. The highest gear available for this pre-determined range is displayed next to the L in the DIC. See Driver Information Center (DIC) and DIC Operation and Displays for more information. The number displayed in the DIC is the highest gear that the transmission will be allowed to operate in. This means that all gears below that number are available. For example, when 4 (Fourth) is shown next to the L, 1 (First) through 4 (Fourth) gears are automatically shifted by the vehicle. the transmission will not shift into 5 (Fifth) until the + (Plus) button is used or you shift back into D (Drive). While in L (Low), the transmission will prevent shifting to a lower gear range if the engine speed is too high. You have a brief period of time to slow the vehicle. If vehicle speed is not reduced within the time allowed, the lower gear range shift will not be completed. You must further slow the vehicle, then press the - (Minus) button to the desired lower gear range. Automatic Engine Grade braking is not available when the ERS is active. It is available in D (Drive) for both normal and Tow/Haul mode. While using the ERS, cruise control and the tow/haul mode can be used. See Tow/Haul Mode for more information. © 2017 General Motors Corporation. All rights reserved

My 2009 Gmc Acadia is blowing hot air in the front and cold in the back. Anyone know what could cause this it is not low on freon.

No it is not low on refrigerant, if that was the case you would not have any cold air front or rear.. There are many reasons for this condition, the system can be tested electronically and then you diagnose the fault shown with a scanner. You need the dealer on this issue.

2009 Acadia power seat tilt not working

If all other functions of the seat are working then you're more than likely either looking at a bad switch, wiring to it or the motor is bad, if the tilt uses the same motor as the up and down or back and forth, then it's probably the switch.

It was running fine, and then we heard a clicking sound and it just quit, now it will not start

Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. You can't do any testing if battery is down. Forget the jumping. Also, check your charging system. Does starter motor crank? If not, check wiring circuits for the starter motor. Any testing at the starter, make sure tranny is in park or neutral and functional parking brake is set, Safety is your responsibility. If you have a digital multimeter, you can do some testing. If the battery is down, put a charger on it. Sometimes if battery voltage is lost, it can effect your security system. I haven't looked to see if it will effect your starter motor?

Drivers door window wint close

You may have one of many parts that have failed. Some more common problems are the motor or the regulator. Some less common problems are the switch or the wiring. Someone will need to take the door apart to determine the problem part. God bless your effort.

I HAVE A 2009 GMC ACADIA WHEN I HIT A BUMP THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON , THE ABS LIGHT COMES ON AND STABILY TRACK LIGHT COME ON WITH A TROUBLE CODE U073 AND A U121

U073 is a communication code from one module to another to simply put it. Code U073 refers to a communication problem with the electronic brake control module ( Which controls ABS/Traction and stability ). I would suspect a loose connection/shorted wiring or even possible internal problem with the brake control module. If the issue occurs after hitting a bump, most likely a loose connection or the wiring rubbing somewhere causing a short from the brake control module.

Why does my powersteering whine when I turn steering wheel/

You likely have a leak in your power steering system and is now low. When the fluid gets low it gets air in it causing the whine. It is likely your steering gear or high pressure hose (or both) that is leaking. Once the leak is repaired it is recommended to flush out your power steering fluid to DEX6 Transmission fluid. I would check for all the leaks under the vehicle and then flush out to transmission fluid - just adding fluid will likely not fix the issue as these vehicles are hard to bleed the air out of.
