Probably the best solution is to try another dealer but you could also obtain a JC Whitney catalog and order a vinyl mask for your model. These fit over the front of your radiator grill to help prevent engine freeze ups and faster warming of the engine. Be sure to remove it in the Spring so you don't overheat anything. Check to be sure that it wont void your warranty.

Check the 3rd gear shaft indent spring is not broker, and there is no play on any linkage stopping the gear from fully engaging , If all is OK there the box will have to be stripped for repair.
