2009 Ford Fusion - Page 8 Questions & Answers
Where is the evaporative emission vent control valve located on a 16 ford fusion with the 2 liter turbo engine
I'm going to assume for simplicity's sake that you're talking about the evap canister purge solenoid, I've heard it called the vent control valve several times before, but technically we call it the evaporative canister purge solenoid, and it's located right in the center of the engine compartment at the back right next to the throttle body. The valve is held on with two 8-millimeter hex head bolts that need to be removed when replacing it. Next, unplug the electrical connector at the top of it, lift up on the tab and then pull out on the connector. Now You have to disconnect the vacuum line going in at the bottom of it. Take a flat blade screwdriver and push it in a little bit on one of the tabs on the side and then pull the hose off. There is an o-ring on the bottom of the valve they can stick a little, just wiggle it while pulling up to remove it.
FORD FUSION 2010 Fuel Pump Inertia Switch.
These switch's very rarely go bad . Check the voltage at both sides of the inertia switch . Don't BELIEVE anything without testing . Your Fusion has electronic returnless fuel system , a FPDM - fuel pump driver module control's the fuel pump .I'm looking at a fuel pump wiring diagram for your vehicle and it doesn't show a inertia switch anyway . Your best bet , have it towed to the dealer .

2012. What should I check if the battery is connected and I get no power to the car?
Sounds like the battery is flat. Have someone stand in front of the vehicle. Put the headlights on and turn the ignition key. If the battery is flat nothing will happen and the lights won't light. If the battery is very low but has power, the headlights will turn to glow worms when the key is turned.
Other possibilities are an activated antitheft system, or a faulty ignition switch. There is also a MAIN FUSE on the positive battery lead!
