NOTE: The steps included in the SJB removal and installation procedure are critical to restoring the vehicle security and tire pressure monitoring systems to normal operation. A new SJB is delivered in manufacturing mode with 6 pre-set diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) related to the tire pressure monitoring system. The presence of these DTCs requires the installation procedures be followed in order to clear the DTCs and enable normal SJB operations.
NOTE: Prior to the removal of the SJB, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the diagnostic tool. This information must be downloaded to the new SJB after installation. For additional information, refer to Section 418-01 .
- Remove the driver door scuff plate. For additional information, refer to Section 501-05 .
- Position the LH door opening weather seal aside.
- NOTE: While pulling the trim panel rearward, pull the hood release lever rearward in order for the release lever to slide through the trim panel. Remove the pushpin and the cowl side trim panel.
- Remove the 2 bolts and the parking brake release handle.
- Disconnect the parking brake switch electrical connector.
- Release the hood release cable pushpin from the parking brake control bracket.
- Release the harness clip from the parking brake cable housing.
- NOTE: Rotating the parking brake control counterclockwise allows enough access to clear the instrument panel reinforcement. Remove the 3 bolts and position the parking brake control assembly under the brake pedal.
I have a 2002 ford explorer sport track truck, front blinkers blink fast, back ones don't work, brake lights don't work, fuses good and bulbs. Is there relays bad maybe ? Help!
No relay's , wiring problems maybe . Viewing wiring diagrams an using a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter to test the electrical circuits is the way to find the problem . Blinkes flashing fast would indicate a bulb out or wiring problem or the switch .

The brake light's not working could be the brake light switch ,located on top of the brake pedal arm (linkage) . Test for B+ voltage into the switch an out when pushing the brake pedal .
