You don't say what method you used so try this -lower the window and contnue to hold the button down for another 5 seconds then raise the window a continue to hold the button down for a further 5 seconds hope this helps

Well it is reasonable to believe that module is bad. You can get a manual at an Auto Parts store called a Haynes Manual and it will show you the placement of the module then you can see how difficult it may be to replace. Sometimes they are easy to get to, other times they can be anywhere from the rear bumper to the headlights!!

well first thing I would check is the u joints and half shafts. if these get some play in them you will get the exact same problem you are talking about.
