Check engine light on my Ford escape.

I would say, check the plug of the EGR. Check for holes in the gas filler tube, top of the tank or in the vacuum lines that run to the purge canister. You can also check for information on the purge solenoid. A bad gas cap can cause this too.

I got a rattle in what sounds like the steering wheel inside the dash any ideas of what this could be

Sorry to say but your rattle is very common on these vehicles. Only solution is to replace the steering column. Good luck.

Get the water pump off my 2008 ford escape do I need to pull the pully above the pump their are two bolts behind the pully

this is where the Pro's come in.. will need a Puller.. with it in the engine housing.. which is nearly impossible.. most of the time you have to take the entire engine out to do this.. So for less Headace's and screaming! Have a Pro do it..

How do I get my escape to My 2008 Ford Escape won't start. What happened: I started the vehicle at night to drive home from work and the speedometer, tachometer and other instruments d

First of all if the car just died whilst driving it wouldn't be the starter. if the car is petrol then the reason for the stopping of the engine was lack of volts you need to give the battery an overnight charge get it started & get a meter onto the battery terminals whilst the engine is running you should get around 14.5 volts if you are showing less than 12 volts suspect the alternator your remote start may not have the amp's to start your car on an almost dead battery hope this helps

Why is the rear blinker not working

Since you haven't given much info with the question I'm going to assume that your blinker light just needs replaced. In which case, you need to remove the light cover and replace the bulb. No biggy! ;) If, when you turn on your blinker and the dash light is blinking really fast and crazy, than you know for sure that it's just the bulb that needs replaced. Hope this helps!!

My 2008 slips into neutral when shjfting between 1st and second

Check the transmission fluid level. If it's not up to full, fill it to the full point, but don't over fill. If this doesn't help, then it's time to take it to a professional. If you can find a transmission guy who will fix the problem instead of saying "oh you'll need a whole new transmission, I happen to be able to sell you a rebuilt one....". The guys who can fix the problem and not replace the whole things are fewer and fewer, now-a-days.

Why do the reverse lights remain lit when the ignition is switched on and the suv is running. This happens in all gears. I removed the center console to look for the reverse light switch, and it seem

You may be looking in the wrong place. It is on the transmission. The switch must be pretty wimpy because it doesn't directly drive the reverse lights, but connects to a reverse light relay in the smart junction box. The relay could be stuck. Unplug the two wire connector at the transmission then turn the key to RUN and see if the reverse lights are still on. If they are on then the relay is stuck and needs to be replaced. If they are not on then the switch in the transmission is bad.
