2008 ford escape won't fill with gas, the pump clicks off after less that 1/2gallon of gas added

You have a high pressure fuel pump in the tank the engine must be off when fueling and you must run the pump slow because the force of the flow causes the pump to click off also when you turn the gas cap to remove it do you here any noise a swoosh sound and is the cap very hard to turn to loosen it if so your getting vapor lock and your fuel pressure regulator is bad but it just might be the high flow pressure from the gas pump try another gas station and again run it slow if the same thing happens investigate the fuel stem this is where you put the gas in but at the tank side check the rubber hose it maybe bent was the car in a rear end collision that you know if? If so the tank could be misaligned causing the bending of the stem/hose post back with more info ok and I'll get you there I just need you to go through the process of elimination and I'm a taxi mechanic in NYC with 50 years experience in all fazes of automotive repairs collision work to ok remember that I'm not there at the vehicle so you need to be my eyes and ears ok thanks Stephen

When I turn the ignition switch to start the vehicle I often cannot shift the stick shift out of Park. If I immediately try to switch gears after starting the engine it usually works but if I leave it

. Shift Interlock System The shift interlock system prevents a shift out of PARK unless the brake pedal is depressed. The shift interlock system has a shift lock actuator mounted on the floor shifter assembly. If the ignition switch is in the RUN position, the shift actuator will allow the shifter to be moved out of PARK only when the brake pedal is pressed. Electroniclly controlled ! Condition Possible Sources Action
  • The shift interlock system does not release or lock correctly
  • Fuse in battery junction box (BJB)
  • Check fuses.
  • Brake pedal position (BPP) switch
  • CHECK the BPP switch. REFER to Section 206-09 .
  • Floor shifter wiring and/or connectors
  • Transmission selector lever
  • Ignition system
  • Go To Pinpoint Test A .

My Escape Radio, CD, and Aux input will not work.

Which three fuse's did you replace ? You should check for B+ voltage on both side's of the fuse . Two little metal tabs on top of the fuse. Voltage on both , fuse is good . Try radio self-diagnostic mode . A fluctuating AC voltage audio signal is sent to the speakers directly from the audio unit to reproduce sound. The audio unit has a self-diagnostic mode that can be entered by pressing preset buttons 3 and 6 simultaneously. Visual Inspection Chart Mechanical Electrical
  • Audio unit
  • Antenna or antenna cable
  • Speaker mounting/speaker cones
  • Radio ignition interference capacitor, radio frequency interference suppression bond, or radio receiver hood bonding strap
  • Smart junction box (SJB) fuse(s):
    • 7 (10A)
    • 12 (5A)
    • 16 (15A)
  • Battery junction box (BJB) fuse(s):

Sunroof retracts fully and lifts but will not close tight on left side

you might be lucky and it just needs the cable greasing. in the mecanisme you will find a cable that is twisted and has brushes on it, use spray grease on this from one end to the other best to do both sides as the cable goes round. also grease the catches , then close the window and put to raised position and from inside spray grease into the arms on either side, run the window back and though though the settings a few times an repeat the greasing as you go.
