The obvious answer is that the switch was not the issue. Could be the motors, the supply voltage, a fuse, the wires etc. You need to use either a meter or test light to see if you have power in and out of the switch.

Dont change things if udont know solution..its just guessin. A flashin enginelite means danger. It often means the catylitic converter is bad. But hav adata stream run at a privateshop to get values to target issue. Codes are jyst approximate n general

I would check the wiring harness to make sure that the wiring connection is tight and secure at the alternator and that no wiring is shorting out when the engine shifts a bit when put into gear. Loose motor mounts or trans. mounts can cause wiring problems. Be careful, you'll need to check some of this with the car in Drive to see if any wiring is being pinched between engine accessories, etc. PARKING BRAKE and Chock the wheels with someone also pressing on the brake pedal when putting the car into gear as you investigate:)

The only way to know why the light is on is to have the fault codes read, any time the light is on a code is set in the PCM memory. Any Autozone or O'reilly auto parts does this testing for free.

I would need the fault codes you now have to help, but I suspect they are the same ones that prompted you to change the sensors. Keep this in mind, fault codes can be caused by wiring issues, mechanical issues such as a worn camshaft belt or timing chain and other problems, in some cases it is the sensor that is defective but often it is not. That is where a professionals help is needed..

Hi Peter, most power seats. Use a circuit. Breaker. for seays. If i was to hazard a guess, i would check your switch on ur seat its a possibility. That it may have come un pluged. To answer your querry, on the cover (fusebox)it will list power seats. Btw, if the pass has power seats, and its ok, your fuse wont be your issue. Hope that helps.
